What Accounting System should I buy and what can I expect to pay?
Most accounting software is updated annually. Budget for annual software updates and additional funds for periodic payroll tables if you run payroll. Also plan to have an annual review of your system by one of Syllatrex' specialists. Syllatrex also provides online support via the internet for an annual online support fee.
Syllatrex installs and supports three levels of accounting systems: entry-level systems, mid-range systems, and full-function accounting systems. Each of them provides a rich array of business capabilities for businesses of all sizes, shapes, and services. The type of program which fits your business best will be determined by your current and evolving business needs. Excluding hardware and network costs but including multi-user software, data conversion, training, installation and support, entry-level systems range from $1000 to $3000; mid-range systems run between $7000 and $14000; and full-function systems run from $20,000 to $60,000.
What are the most common mistakes made by businesses when installing and operating accounting systems?
The biggest problem Syllatrex sees time and again is the lack of proper backups, viruses, spyware, and systems that are installed incorrectly.
